How to Control the Volume of your Natural Hair




I love the versatility of natural hair–short one day and long the next, laid and swinging or voluminous and attention-grabbing. One way I’ve learned to harness that versatility is by learning how to control that volume. Keep reading to see how!


The stretched, heatless hair style in the image required the different techniques outlined above to lay down the front and sides of my hair and plump up the braid in the back. I was so happy with the results that I thought I’d make a shareable infographic with tips on how you can play with your volume, too!
